During the shooting of the film “Eat Pray Love” which aired in 2010, Labuan Sait Beach was temporarily closed to the public.

In addition to shooting the film "Eat Pray Love", other international artists are also interested in using this beach as a place for making video clips.

Music group Michael Learns to Rock (MLTR) also performs shooting this video clip on Labuan Sait Beach. The MLTR music video for this beach is “Someday” in 1996.

Not only interesting to enjoy the beautiful scenery as well as for filming scenes or making video clips, Padang-Padang Beach also attracts those who like water sports surfing or water surfing.

You don't need to doubt this beach's fame as a place for water surfing. Every year at Padang Padang Beach an international surfing competition is held.

If you want to surf with satisfying waves, you have to swim as far as 300 meters into the middle of the sea because in this section the waves are quite large with strong underwater currents.

How to get to Padang Padang Beach

The location of this beach is very easy for you to find because it is close to other tours. This beach is located on Jalan Labuan Sait, Pecatu Village.

If you depart from downtown Denpasar, you will travel approximately 15 km. Then when you go to this beach you will pass the entrance to the GWK tourist attraction or Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park.

If from I Ngurah Rai International Airport, you can go through the By Pass Ngurah Rai road and the Bai Mandara toll road then look for directions to the Pecatu area.

If you have passed the intersection, continue to the south until you arrive at the intersection of Uluwatu Street and the UNUD Campus highway. Both of them go to Pecatu, but tourists prefer Uluwatu because they arrive faster.

After arriving at the Pecatu Indah Resort area, continue forward 400 meters to the intersection and keep following the Uluwatu highway for about 2 km. You will arrive in front of the Pecatu Village Office and return to the intersection. Turn right via Labuan Sait road to Padang-Padang Beach.
