Ruins of the History of the Kingdom of Adonara

The Kingdom of Adonara was founded around 1600 AD and is located on the northern coast of the Sago Village. Tourists who visit this historical site will also be invited to climb the hills which are the starting point of the kingdom.

Arriving there, you will be greeted by a one-meter-high pile of rocks that used to serve as a front line of protection.

Then, you will also find two simple houses with tin roofs before visiting the Portuguese fort while following the historical tour of Adonara.

In its heyday, the fort circled the countryside which happened to face the sea. The tourists also had the opportunity to admire the view of Flores from a height when they stopped there.

Do not stop there, the fort with a height of five meters is the 'home' of two ancient cannons whose muzzles point directly at the village.

Unfortunately, the local people paid little attention to the cannons, so their condition was so fragile. They even had time to dismantle the fort to open a new route that would facilitate access to the countryside.

They will process the carbohydrate source by frying it dry over a fire and then pounding it until it is flat. The combination of crunchy texture and savory taste makes many tourists addicted to try it.
